2020-21 & 2021-22 Rounds

 

The 2020-21 NDRR competitive grant round is OPEN. 

Ab​​out this round

The first National Disaster Risk Reduction 2020-21 (NDRR2020-21) competitive grants program is open from 12pm (midday) ​​​Friday 25 June 2021 and closes 12pm (midday) Friday 6 August 2021 This round sets out to distribute $2 million to WA via a competitive grants round that will support the priorities of both the State and Commonwealth governments.​

Applications are encouraged for projects assisting in disaster risk reduction, directly benefiting the WA community and delivering sustainable outcomes.

Projects delivered by or benefiting at-risk, Indigenous or Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities are welcomed.

Projects must be addressing at least one Commonwealth NDRRF priority​, demonstrate one or more of the 11 action areas within the WA Implementation Plan​ and address at least one natural hazard.

For eligibility, organisations wishing to apply should check the Quick Eligibility Check​.

Second Round

The second NDRR competitive grant round (NDRR2021-22) will be released immediately following the NDRR2020-21. The second round encourages State or Sector-wide Significant Projects to apply.

The NDRR2021-22 grant round will open week ending 20 August 2021 and close 24 September​​ 2021. 

How to apply:

Applicants should first review the Guidelines for Applicants and Frequently Asked Questions to be sure their project will meet the NDRR grant eligibility. Use the Quick Eligibility Check before completing your application.

Applicants are encouraged to review the NDRRF and WA Implementation Plan​ eleven (11) action areas to ensure the project is addressing at least one Commonwealth priority and one or more State priority. 

Download the 2020-21 NDRR Application Form and save it to your computer prior to ​​completing your application. 

Completed applications are to be submitted to ndrr@dfes.wa.gov.au​ before 12pm (midday) Friday 6 August 2021.
